Alur Cerita :

Drama seri menggambarkan kisah Hwarang (harfiah "Berbunga Knights") - kelompok elit laki-laki muda di saat Kerajaan Silla.

Notes

1. Takes over the KBS2 Mon & Tue 22:00 time slot previously occupied by "Sweet Stranger and Me" and followed by "Perfect Wife" February, 2017.
2. First script reading took place at the beginning of March, 2016. The script reading took place over two different sessions.
3. Drama series went under the working title of "Hwarang: The Beginning," but changed to "Hwarang."
4. Filming began March 31, 2016 and finished September 1, 2016.
