Alur Cerita :

Berlatar belakang pada masa pemerintahan tirani Raja Yeonsangun. Serial ini bercerita tentang Hong Gil Dong, anak tidak sah dari seorang bangsawan yang mencuri harta dari orang kaya dan memberikannya kepada orang miskin, dan perjalanannya untuk menjadi aktivis revolusioner pertama di era Joseon.
